Welcome Brooklyn Jane

Sorry for not writing for over a year, I'm not proud of it. However it's been an eventful year. We visited my parents in NYC while they were serving a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. They get home in May, we're super excited and happy they got the amazing opportunity of serving in the Big Apple and even happier that they're going to be around for family fun! Brooklyn Jane was born exactly 17 months after Joseph's bday. She's an angel, so much fun to have interact with everyone she grabs with her contagious smile and happy eyes. I hope to be better in the future in updating our blog, we'll shoot for once a month, anything more will be "bonus".

General Conference weekend in Logan

Oh so I totally forgot to post about our trip up to Logan for General Conference weekend! Above is a picture of Oakley, Beck and Joseph @ 1st dam park. It was wonderful to get together with Kristy and Sara from my Logan Married Student Ward, we miss them like crazy! We loved being with family on both sides. Grandma and Grandpa Wheelwright are still gone on the mission but my brother Jon and his family moved in after Jon got a job in Ogden. It's so wonderful to have them closer and to have someone @ mom and dad's home!
Bright eyes and bushy tailed @ 7 am! Gotta love 11 hours of sleep!Joseph loved Grandma and Grandpa Wheelwright's rocking horse! He almost got bucked off but he showed who was boss!
Grandma Stevens has an array of outfits for all ages, shapes and sizes for her grandchildren. We loved this little "conductor's get up".
Okay, so I had to include another favorite from Easter morning, if any of you got our Christmas card you can see he's still got this "silly face" occasionally for the camera!

Happy Easter!

Joseph woke up with a sweaty head so daddy took full liberty to style! This was Joseph's second Easter, weird to think he's old enough to be having seconds... However his 1st Easter was when he was two days old and spent it in the Nicu. This Easter was filled with more laughter and happiness than tears and heartache. We are so grateful for our Lord Savior who blesses us each day with a renewed spirit and opportunity to be better than before. Lorin enjoyed looking for both his and Joseph's basket while helping me find mine that was hidden in the one the best spots of the house, in my Daddy's (Grandpa Wheelwright) Oak Masterpiece!

We moved!

As of March, we moved to Orem thanks to CR Foundations where Lorin is currently working! We were thrilled to find a job so close considering that Lorin had applied all over the nation! These two pictures were taken at our friend's surprise birthday party @ Wild Ginger (any of you Chinese food lovers, you gotta go try their menu!) Joseph had an accident and got to wear his jacket as a pair pants in the second photo, thanks to Lorin's brains, they were a success!
